A dramatic rescue unfolded in the early hours of Monday morning, when a body recovery team was forced to leap into the sea — in waters known for saltwater crocodile sightings — after their boat suddenly burst into flames.
The team had been responding to a call about a body discovered near the Tanjung Aru 3 coastal area.
