खाड़ी क्षेत्र में ईरान के जारी मिसाइल और ड्रोन हमलों के बीच दुबई में एक बार फिर धमाकों की ताज़ा लहर सुनाई दी। लगातार दूसरे दिन शहर भर में विस्फोटों की आवाज़ें गूंजती रहीं, जबकि वायु रक्षा प्रणालियों ने आसमान में कई खतरों को इंटरसेप्ट किया। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि सुनी गई कई आवाज़ें सफल इंटरसेप्शन की थीं, लेकिन गिरे हुए मलबे से ज़मीन पर काफ़ी नुकसान हुआ है।
जेबेल अली पोर्ट पर इंटरसेप्ट की गई मिसाइल के टुकड़ों से एक बर्थ पर आग लग गई, जिससे काला धुआं उठता रहा। रिहायशी इलाकों में भी ड्रोन के छर्रे गिरने से दो लोग घायल हुए। दुबई अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर भी नुकसान की खबर है, जहां टर्मिनल खाली कराए गए और चार लोग घायल हुए। प्रतिष्ठित बुर्ज अल अरब की बाहरी दीवार को भी मलबे से क्षति पहुंची, हालांकि वहां कोई घायल नहीं हुआ। ब्रिटिश राजदूत एडवर्ड हॉबार्ट ने नागरिकों से घरों में सुरक्षित रहने की अपील की है।
A fresh wave of explosions has rocked Dubai as Iran continues missile and drone attacks across the Gulf region. For a second consecutive day, blasts were heard across the city, with air defence systems intercepting incoming threats overhead. Authorities say many of the explosions were successful interceptions, but debris has caused significant damage on the ground. Thick black smoke rose from Jebel Ali Port after missile fragments ignited a fire at one of its berths. Residential areas were also impacted, with two people injured by falling drone shrapnel. Damage was reported at Dubai International Airport, where terminals were cleared and four people injured. The iconic Burj Al Arab suffered facade damage from debris, though no injuries were reported. British Ambassador Edward Hobart urged nationals to shelter in place amid escalating tensions.
