The Victorian government has blocked new legislation in parliament to beef up the state's integrity regime as the political damage from corruption and criminality in construction continues to engulf the premier. Follow-the-dollar powers and more public hearings have been demanded by agencies but Labor says its taking a considered approach to integrity reform in its 12th year in office.
