PKR assemblyman Fahmi Zainol has been removed, with immediate effect, as the state agrotechnology, food security and cooperative development committee chairman.
Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said Fahmi's service as a state executive councillor ends on Wednesday (March 4).
