At 52, Soliman Wan, a pastor from Sarawak’s Kenyah community, has finally been granted Malaysian citizenship after more than three decades of being stateless.
Soliman received his citizenship on Jan 19 and his MyKad on Jan 29, describing the moment as a “dream come true” that left him overwhelmed with emotion.
