Jessie Carr, from New South Wales, Australia, was eating at the Sydney Fish Market with her friend when a seagull suddenly swooped down and snatched their wagyu sushi straight from them.
The video captures the split second attack as the bird dives in with perfect timing, leaving the pair stunned and laughing in disbelief.
One user commented: ‘That seagull said thank you for the wagyu.’
Another added: ‘I would never emotionally recover from losing wagyu sushi like that.’
