Protesters clashed in New York on Friday (March 6) during a memorial for Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The memorial was held under New York's iconic Washington Square Arch as counterprotesters waved US, Israeli and pre-revolution Iranian flags behind police barricades before a lone protester disrupted proceedings, when he grabbed Khamenei portrait from a memorial table.
