U.S.-Israeli strikes hit five oil depots in Tehran and neighbouring Alborz province on Saturday (March 7) night, causing casualties and sending large plumes of smoke over the Iranian capital.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei condemned the strikes on social media platform X, describing them as “war crimes and crimes against humanity”.
