Miquita Oliver has reportedly been told off by her bosses after an incident involving US pop star Kesha.
After interviewing the Tik Tok singer at a recent awards show, the T4 presenter apparently used a four-letter word behind her back.
But Kesha's management overheard her and complained.
A Channel 4 spokesperson said: "Miquita Oliver was involved in an issue which she now regrets and has sent an apology to those concerned."
The channel also says she will continue to be a key part of the presenting team.
Miquita made her TV debut presenting Popworld and has been one of T4's main presenters ever since.
