The showbiz world has been reacting to the news that comedians Dawn French and Lenny Henry have split up after 25 years of marriage.
Speaking at a fashion event in London, former EastEnders actress Michelle Collins said: "I am sure they want it to be private but it is very sad when a very long relationship like that breaks up."
TV presenter Gail Porter also shared her feelings: "It is sad. They made such a nice couple. That is a shame. It is horrible when anyone splits up."
Meanwhile former Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq had a more philosophical view on the showbiz break-up: "I have a theory that in the future, marriages will be things people go in and out of - my first, my second, my third. It is evolution of society I guess."
51-year-old Jenry and 52-year-old French married in 1984 and have an adopted daughter called Billie.
According their spokesperson, the split was "entirely amicable" and they hope the media will now respect their privacy.
