Archie discovers the body of a woman on her bedroom floor -- whom he later identifies as a prostitute, a fact that is key to the murder, its motivation, and perpetrator. As the characters reveal their relationships to the doxy, Wolfe is challenged to find a conclusion with an almost total lack of evidence.
