The first Canadian astronaut to ever perform a spacewalk, Chris Hadfield will take part in NASA's undersea mission NEEMO 14 (NASA Extreme Environment Mission Operations) that uses the ocean floor to simulate exploration missions to the surface of asteroids, Moon and Mars in May this year. He is also part of a Canadian underwater science expedition (Pavilion Lake, BC), learning how to search for life in extreme environments.
