She is successfully juggling motherhood with her movie and music career, but Jennifer Lopez admits she has never thought about making any contingency plans for herself.
"I don't think you can in this business", the actress says. "It's so competitive. You have to really be focused and can't just fall back on this."
Fresh from her two-year-maternity leave the latina diva spoke at the London premiere of new romantic comedy The Back-Up Plan.
In the film Lopez plays a middle-aged woman, who after failing to meet her Mr Right, decides to have artificial insemination instead.
Whilst Lopez might have been able to draw from her own motherhood experience to prepare for the role, she thinks that is where the similarities end.
"It wasn't me being myself. Zoe and I are very different in many ways.
"She was kind of a loner. I am so not a loner.
"I love being around my family and friends.
"She's also emotionally very different than I was, but it was fun."
In real-life the actress is married to actor and singer Mark Anthony, with whom she has two children, twins Max and Emme.
