Russell Brand is hoping England win their crucial match against Slovenia.
While promoting his new movie Get Him To The Greek, the comedian said:
''We have to win, we have no choice, victory at all costs! Lets get behind this thing.''
Russell is a big fan of England goalkeeper Robert Green's team West Ham. And when asked about the player's mistake he made during England's opening match against the USA he commented:
''He's a strong bloke. I have seen Robert around Upton Park, he seems self contained and a strong man, it was an unfortunate error, but he can come back, it's a shame he didn't get to play against Algeria. But David James had a great game. But I think that Robert will be fine - we all make mistakes, we're human beings.''
Russell's new film, which sees him back as rock star Aldous Snow, is out now.
