Former Busted star Charlie Simpson has been busy recording his first solo record.
Since leaving Busted he formed the group Fightstar. They are still together but are taking a break at the moment so Charlie has been writing his own music.
Speaking at a premiere this week he said:
''I have been writing my own songs for the last six months. I thought it would be a good time to do it. It should be out around february, March next year.
''It's acoustic based, kind of country folk style, band orientated but much more chilled than anything I have done before.''
