2010-12-04 1st LIVE Journal, Mayan day 10 The Road Noticing that this trecena has been rather challenging for me, I figured maybe it’s been that way for a number of you - so I thought I would share a bit of what’s been going on with me. These cycles are not personal - nothingt really is - since there is no such thing as a person, ultimately - but we don’t need to go there right now ;) This trecena is Akbal or Night. It lasts for 3 more days, as this is 10 of 13. In this cycle we are called on to travel the void - to deal with subconscious and darker, unseen ‘Stuff.’ We’re all going through this - yet we seem and feel isolated. That’s an illusion, but that’s still how it feels. I also share a couple of things that have helped my estranged daughter get through some extremely hard times. She’s doing better now, and shared with me that these two sayings have helped carry her through: “He is wealthy who is content with what he has.” “Get knocked down 1.000 times - get up 1.001 and you are victorious.” I may have misquoted them, but I got the general gist right, anyway. Perhaps they will provide an assist to you, too. Following heart just seems to be what carries me through. It’s been challenging - but heart will always carry us through. We have forgotten our greatness - our Higher Self. Yet, we can serve to remind one another when the inspiration arises. I hope that’s what this video is.
