One scientist (Howard) and one total nincompoop (Tom) accidentally get lost in time and when their hand unit breaks they're stuck there and must rely on natural power surges to leap them back home. However things aren't so simple when Tom befriends legendary highway man Dick Turpin and they're forced to run from the law. Still this might not be their biggest problem.
