REPORTERS - After 20 years of civil war between the north and the south, South Sudan’s dream of independence is finally within reach. If, as expected, the "yes" vote wins in the recent referendum, the people of South Sudan could finally regain control of their destinies. But in this region dependent on international subsidies and made up of many different ethnic groups, the path towards a new state remains challenging.
