Team Columbia's Andre Greipel won stage 1 of the Tour Down Under, finishing ahead of Baden Cooke (UniSA) and Stuart O'Grady (Saxo Bank).Stage 1 was 140 kilometres, from Norwood to Mawson Lakes in Adelaide.
