I started writing this song when I was still a beginner at guitar( around 12 or 13 years old). I could never seem to get past the first verse do to writers block but I kept what I wrote down cuz I thought it was really catchy and I didn't want to give up on it. Every now and then I would come across it mixed in with all my other song lyrics I've finished or are still working on and I might tinker with it a little, but nothing I came up with sounded right for it. Well, about a month or two ago I figured out the notes I was looking for... and today I FINALLY finished it.
