The Rochdale Dawah Centre (RDC) is a UK registered non profit charity organisation (no. 110 4240) set up in 2003 in order to:
Invite Muslims back to the true teachings of the Quran and Sunnah
Educate non-Muslims about the true teachings of Islam
Engage and contribute to the community in which we live.
RDC is committed to co-operating with other organisations and is open to all members of the community regardless of their faith.
The RDC is funded by donations from the public.
Serving the community through Unity
A wide range of activities are currently held at the centre throughout the week, including:
- Exhibitions and open days on Islam
- Jumu'ah Khutbah in English
- Arabic Classes
- Adult Study Circles
- Weekly talks covering a range of topics for males and females
- Weekend Islamic school for children
- Help and support for new Muslims
- Free literature and Quran distribution
- Access to small library
