Faster, bigger, better used to be the mantra at international auto shows. But now manufacturers are turning their focus elsewhere: to promoting greater fuel-efficiency and lower emissions. The Barcelona International Motor Show is an example. Here Hyundai's new mid-range sedan, the i40, is making its world premiere. This model proves that fuel-efficiency and attractive design don't have to be mutually exclusive. The i40 produces just 113 grams of CO2 per kilometer driven. Its dynamic look was created by designers at the European Design Center in Rüsselsheim.
