- Stocks declined around the world, extending four weeks of losses.

- Gold for immediate delivery climbed 2.3 percent to $1,893 after earlier reaching an all-time high of around $1,894.

- Cash silver jumped 2.2 percent to over $43, up for a seventh day whilst Platinum rallied as much as 1.1 percent to $1,895.
