The latest casualties in the battle for control of Muammar Gaddafi's birthplace arrive at hospital.
Libya's interim government says it's calling a two-day truce for civilians to escape fighting in and around Sirte.
The truce order was issued on Friday but on Saturday both sides continued to exchange fire.
Aid workers from the International Committee of the Red Cross have been taking medical supplies into the city despite the fighting.
There are fears that a humanitarian disaster was unfolding inside.
SOUNDBITE: Karen Strugg, Red Cross worker, saying (English):
"We do have a team that has left this morning towards Sirte and is ahead and (IN ARABIC), God willing, we will manage to distribute our items until today."
Anti-Gaddafi fighters have arrested at least seven of the deposed leader's supporters near Sirte.
The men surrendered after interim government fighters took the village of Abu Hadi south of the city where Gaddafi was born.
In a further twist Gaddafi's spokesman has contacted a Syria-based television channel to deny reports he himself had been captured.
Moussa Ibrahim said he was regularly moving in and out of Sirte and rejected the reports that he'd been captured disguised as a woman.
