An Unprecedented Project - The Nation's Collective Memory | People & Politics

2011-11-04 1 Dailymotion

In a unique and unprecedented project, Germans' memories are being recorded and collected for posterity. Interviewers are travelling all over the country in a bus, talking to people who've lived through major milestones in the country's history - from the fall of the Berlin Wall to the student protests of the late 1960s and the winning goal scored by West Germany in the football World Cup in 1954 in Bern, Switzerland. All these memories are being saved for later generations.
