Heavy rain caused a large section of this California road to collapse, leaving a large gaping hole.
It had been closed to pedestrians and traffic after cracks expanded at the rate of four inches a day over the last few months.
On Sunday, a 274 meter portion of the road south of Los Angeles fell into the Pacific Ocean.
Residents have been warned to stay away from the road as it remains unstable.
