Inky the Street cat.
Inky has progressed in leaps n bounds, he appeared in the local area almost 4 years ago, and being a street cat, it is a fact, that, he has rarely if at all in his life, ever allowed people to get close to him, understandably so.
During the first few months he was about, I had taken to shooing him away, so he had been given every reason to avoid me, but not only has he forgiven me for my chasing him away, Inky has, during the last 3 years +, bonded with me and placed such great trust in me, yet again, I'm so very honoured and humbled, that yet a further animal has rewarded me this way.
Inky has now reached the stage where, not only does he like following me about, he's now become one of the clouder, he does retain his street cat independance and persona, but he does now take time to enjoy playing, and it is very likely the first time he has done so, other than as a kitten with his siblings.
