Gulf Shores Golf Club (fomerly The Golf Club of The Wharf ) offers a spectacular golfing experience. The beautiful setting, challenging course, and elegant clubhouse create a golf atmosphere that both the golf novice and enthusiast will admire. Designed in the traditional plantation-style, The Clubhouse is complete with a dining room and golf Pro Shop. The Clubhouse is perfectly situated to give guests a spectacular view of the surrounding fairways. There are enhancements planned to the clubhouse that will make the overall experience even better. Some improvements include: relocating the golf Pro Shop to the ground level, adding new locker rooms and expanding the dining room to faclitate large groups.
The Golf Club's 18 championship holes were designed by the renowned father-son team of Jay and Carter Morrish, and feature a few sharp doglegs, bunkers, and the occasional water hazard.
