The stark sight of two black coffins on Wednesday morning sparked tears and anguish among the Israeli population, finally crushing any lingering hopes that at least one of the soldiers might still be alive. On Wednesday morning Hizbullah transfered to Israel the bodies of Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser, the two Israeli soldiers it abducted in the 2006 cross border raid which sparked the Second Lebanon War.
