The well-guarded gates of the Sultan's Pool just outside the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem were opened at six o'clock in the afternoon for Jerusalem's International Festival of Arts and Crafts. The festival, which takes place from the 11th to the 23rd of August and has been held annually for the past 13 years, has become a tradition in the capital and is one of the largest tourist attractions in the region.
