Guess who is coming for dinner? Once again Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in town to attend the United Nations General Assembly has been invited to attend a private dinner with students at Columbia University. If the dinner goes as planned it will be the second time the Iranian president has visited the campus. A group called United Against Nuclear Iran however is pressuring the university to cancel the event. The group's president Mark Wallace a former UN ambassador wrote to Lee Bollinger president of the university asking him to cancel the event. In his letter Wallace said it was inappropriate for a person in his capacity to meet with a leader who heads a regime seeking nuclear weapons, who funds terror organizations and violates human rights.
