irish singer/songwriter AIDAN mixes his energetic guitar style with his soulful voice to create a blend of FOLK-ROCK music comparable to JOHN MARTYN or ANI DIFRANCO, but refreshingly original at the same time...
after releasing his debut album "WALKING INTO WALLS" in 2002, AIDAN toured EUROPE extensivly, hooking up with various bands and musicians along the way. in 2004 he returned to ireland to record his second album...
AIDAN currently plays with 3-piece folk group, TEA (3-part harmony, clarinet, violin, guitar, percussion), with 8-piece ECLECTIC FOLK ROCK group, THE HAPPY GANG (7-part harmony, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, banjo, bass, drums, percussion, clarinet, etc.) and with his own 5-piece ROCK band (percussion, bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, 4 vocals).
in april 2006, AIDAN released a "LIVE AT BEWLEYS" cd featuring JOHNNY RAGE (ITO), JENNY LINDFORS, CIAN MURPHY (berimbodhrán), JAMES GUILMARTIN, BEN KRITIKOS, CHRIS MORRIN and NIALL JAMES HOLOHAN. his music has been appearing on radio stations across ireland and he has been performing alongside artists such as bobby mcferrin and kila.
