Kash Shaikh, Director of Marketing for HP Networking, talks with LockerGnome's Brandon Wirtz about HP FlexNetwork technology. FlexNetwork technology is designed to address challenges in the areas of network capacity, network connectivity and network functionality throughout company network infrastructure. Most medium and large companies have network architectures filled with inconsistent and incompatible technologies, including multiple operating system versions and numerous management tools for working with all the components. The net result is increased complexity and additional costs in the form of expensive upgrades, productivity drain, and network latency. HP FlexNetwork is intended to make upgrades in these heterogeneous environments more agile, allowing unneeded layers of complexity to be removed. Using the HP Intelligent Management Center reduces administration complexity by providing a unified tool. By creating a flatter network, FlexNetwork reduces the number of components to administer, further reducing complexity and creating a more consistent experience.
