Hari Sharma & Aruna Sharma from Uppsala University are invited to Xi'an, China for Vth International Association of Neurorestoratology (IANR) and 9th Global College of Neuroproetction & Neuroregeneration (GCNN) combined congress, Sofitel at Renmin Square, Xi'an, China, May 4-7, 2012. In Session of General Neurorestoratology Hari Sharma presented the works carried out in Uppsala University with Aruna Sharma since 1988 on various aspects of Central nervous system (CNS) injury. Dr Sharma pointed out that one should also include brain damage caused by drugs of abuse as psychostimulants drugs and their usage kill more human beings than traumatic injuries to the CNS or motor vehicle accident in the World today. Thus, novel aspects of brain damage should be included in Neurorestoratology. This idea gained wide attention in the congress that was attended by more than 1200 delegates across the Globe including 400 medical doctors from China alone.
