I'D RATHER BE AN OLD TIME CHRISTIAN is found in many Methodist hymnals ... I remember singing this tune in Church when I was a kid.
SORRY, I NEVER KNEW YOU ... I believe the Sego Bothers and Naomi first recorded this song back in the early 1960s.
