STORY: Kylie Minogue sparkled in gold as the Australian pop singer walked her first red carpet in Cannes for the world premiere of French movie "Holy Motors" on Wednesday (May 23).
In the film Minogue plays a melancholy air hostess who is contemplating suicide. She also performs a song for her lost love.
Described as probably one of the oddest choices of film in competition this year, it had been loudly cheered at the press screening earlier in the day.
Minogue looked happy and relaxed and even danced a little as she joined her cast members and the film's director, French film maker Leos Carax, at the Palais de Festival.
