Cardinal Borgia ordered the assassination of the Calamity Raven members (apparently some of this plans were not accomplished) and the first one to almost die was Lydia. Luckily for her, Gusurg was there to prevent her early departure.
It was nice to see some loyalty of Gusurg. Lydia never trusted him and yet, he was the one to save her. But then again, who wouldn't save such a fine piece of ... tank of hers.
