Officials are investigating a fire that broke out at the headquarters of Egyptian presidential candidate Ahmed Shafiq late Monday.
State news reported that the building was set fire by a group of angry protesters.
A member of Ahmed Shafiq's campaign said the same.

"When I came here I found them breaking the windows, but I could not do anything because I was here alone and there were many people; a large number of about 400 people, I could have died if I tried to prevent them, but there were some people among them who I know very well."
Shafiq, who served as Hosni Mubarak's last prime minster, angers many in Egypt who believe his ascendency to power would mean the continuation of Mubarak-era policies.
For others, he represents a return to stability and security.
Shafiq is set to run against the Muslim Brotherhood candidate Mohamed Mursi in the June run-off vote.
It is a contest between the two most polarising and controversial figures in the race.
Several thousand protesters took to the streets across Egypt on Monday to demonstrate against the divisive election results.
Investigations into the blaze are continuing.
