In the midst of a scandal, John Travolta and his wife, Kelly Preston were all smiles at the Los Angeles premiere of "Savages".
It was one of the few public appearances the actor has made following multiple allegations of sexual harassment from various male masseurs and a recent libel lawsuit.
But Travolta made sure the night was all about his work as he praised director Oliver Stone.
SOUNDBITE: John Travolta, actor, saying (English):
"He's strong because he wants you to do the best you can but, I like that so, I invited that feeling. But, also, I'm an old pro so I could give him what he needed. I'm a Chinese menu, tell me what you want and I'll give it to you. We got along great."
"Savages" follows the lives of two young American marijuana growers who find themselves battling a powerful Mexican drug-lord, played by Salma Hayek, after their girlfriend, portrayed by Blake Lively, is kidnapped.
After the gritty role, Lively enjoyed the stylish night out.
SOUNDBITE: Blake Lively, actor, saying (English):
"It's thrilling to be here dressed up because this movie, I had to be tortured and covered in dirt the whole time, so it's nice to balance it with this."
Filling out the cast is Demian Bichir and Emile Hirsch.
The film hits U.S. theaters July 6.
