A one-and-half-year-old boy on Sunday (July 1) fell into a 20-feet deep pit at Chukma village here, but was quickly rescued, averting another Mahi-like incident in Gurgaon. The child, identified as Sachin, slipped into the pit late in the evening (July 1) at an area near Palam Vihar on the outskirts of Delhi. "Sachin was playing near our house. He suddenly fell into the pit at around 7.30 PM. We sought help of our neighbours first...," the child's mother Pooja said.
