Cataract is the cloud developing in the lens capsule that may slightly vary in degree of opacity and obstruction of passage of light. Sometimes, cataracts are confused with presbyopia, a condition where the lens gets stiff because of aging. It occurs around the age of 45 and may completely be treated.
