Adjusting to the idea of moving can be difficult for kids. Make it more enjoyable by involving them in the moving process.
Sit down with your kids and sort through their stuff, letting them decide what to keep and what to throw out.
If it's possible, give your kids a blueprint or sketch of their new rooms.
Ask them what colors or designs they want to decorate their room.
By getting your kids involved, they'll not only feel better about the move, it might even get them excited for the new place.
