Fr. Keith preaches a sermon at Trinity Episcopal Church (Jeffers, MT) and suggests that people prefer to ask for (and receive) God's help, and not so much wanting God's presence. "The problem with God," he says, "is we can't lie to God, and if we let God get close, we must change." In the Gospel reading from John 6, Jesus suggests the taste of heaven is far superior to the morsels we ingest in life. Try it; you just might like it!
