2011-05-09 4 Dailymotion

In Libya, NATO jets have attacked a government weapons depot just south-west of the capital Tripoli. It came as forces loyal to Muammar Gaddafi launched a wave of attacks on rebel-held areas across the country. Fierce fighting has been reported in the the city of Misrata, the last rebel stronghold in the west. The opposition there says it's critically low on food and supplies, and warns of an imminent humanitarian crisis. But despite almost daily bombing runs, coalition jets have been unable to break Gadaffi's siege of the port-city. And, as RT's Ivor Bennet reports, some NATO nations are finding it harder to justify the cost of the campaign.
