French President Francois Hollande greets Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras.
After their meeting on Saturday, Hollande said Greece must stay in the euro zone, but also show its commitment to reform.
(SOUNDBITE) (French) FRENCH PRESIDENT FRANCOIS HOLLANDE SAYING:
"Greece must stay in the euro zone. Then, it has to prove, once more, that its program is credible and that its leaders are willing to go through with it to the end while making it bearable for the population."
Paris is Samaras' last stop on a European tour to present Greece's case for more time to implement austerity reforms.
At risk is a multi-billion euro bailout that Greece desperately needs to prevent the debt-laden country from bankruptcy.
Throughout the tour, Samaras has said he is not asking for more cash, just more time to push through reforms widely resisted by weary Greeks.
He says more time would also allow Greece to prepare plans to return to growth and eventually pay its lenders back.
But this message has been met with harsh criticism from euro zone members tired of bailing Greece out of financial trouble.
