The captain of the Costa Concordia cruise liner that ran aground off the Italian coast on Friday is now under house arrest.
New video footage and a tape of a frantic conversation that Captain Francesco Schettino had with the coast guard indicate a desperate evacuation of the vessel.
The recordings present evidence that Schettino abandoned his ship while passengers were still on board, a move that could result in a class action lawsuit.
