A judge in Brazil has ruled that construction can resume on the 13bn dollar Belo Monte dam in the Amazon.
The order overturns a judgement last week suspending production over concerns that the project would displace indigenous tribes in the rain forest.
The government says such megadams are needed to meet growing energy demands.
