France has come up with a new way to try to stop the number of alcohol-related deaths on its roads.
Drivers will now have to carry a portable breathalyser kit in their vehicles or risk a fine.
Although the law has now come into force, vehicle owners will have until November to get used to it before the fines are imposed.
