A Russian cargo space ship is on its way to the International Space Station. The Progress module was launched by a Soyuz rocket from the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan just over an hour ago. It will reach orbit in three days' time and will deliver supplies for the ISS crew. There are currently three people there -- a Russian, an American and a Japanese. They were due to have their supplies restocked in August, but a previous Progress ship was lost in a crash. That was due to a manufacturing flaw in the Soyuz rocket. The Russian space agency says it has since checked all similar engines. After the end of NASA's shuttle program in July, the Soyuz has become the sole means of getting to the ISS. The rocket is due to take three new crew members there in two weeks' time.
