General Ratko Mladic is a former Bosnian Serb military leader. He was indicted by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia for genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity. Mladic was accused of being responsible for the 1992--1995 Siege of Sarajevo and the Srebrenica massacre. The worldwide manhunt for him lasted fifteen years. On May 31, 2011, Mladic was handed over to the Hague Tribunal. But a public opinion poll shows more than half the Serb population were against his extradition. Protests over his arrest are growing daily. So who is Ratko Mladic -- hero or criminal?
